Oh, the 1990's. The time when the sports licensed product industry took off like a rocket, capturing the attention of the fashion and entertainment worlds! No product captures the sports apparel trends of the early 1990's better than these classic t-shirt designs from Magic Johnson T's. Yes, Earvin "Magic" Johnson took a dive into the licensed sports apparel business and introduced these crazy designs to the marketplace.
These classic shirts featured a print that covered the entire garment, a belt print as it was known. The shirts featured wild graphics and intense colors along with team logos and player images. This line was like no other at the time and really took the industry by storm. Magic Johnson T's were available in NHL, NFL and NBA colors. These images were captured at one of the National Sporting Goods shows in Chicago in the early 1990's. The items featured in these photos were the newest creations that the company was about to launch to the public.
