I couldn't help but to point out a great NASCAR paint scheme/sponsor combo that ran in the NASCAR Banking 500 at Lowe's Motor Speedway on Saturday night. Clint Bowyer, driver of the #33 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet took to the famed track with a General Mills Monster Cereals paint scheme on his car. Why is this so significant? Well, it was not that the paint scheme was some modern design wonder. What makes it great is that I am a huge fan of these classic sugar loaded cereals.
As a kid, you always felt lucky when you were able to get your hands on a box of one of these classics. Frankenberry has to go down in history as my favorite cereal of all-time. Now, as an adult, I search each year at this time to see if I can get my hands on my childhood favorites. Around Halloween you will start to see Frankenberry, Boo Berry and Count Chocula make thier way to the store shelves for a short period of time. Stock up while you can! I love the cereals and the classic artwork of the monster characters that is always featured on the boxes. It was great to see these classic characters featured so prominently on Saturday night.
