Welcome to the Sports Design Blog. It is my hope to bring you entertaining, thoughtful, and newsworthy commentary on all things related to graphic design for sports. One of the greatest facets of sports entertainment lies in the colors, logos and graphics that bring the games to life. This blog will be dedicated to the study of the "graphics of the game".
I have been involved in the sports logo business in many ways since the mid 1980's. Growing up as a child, I was always fascinated by the logos and uniforms of my favorite sports teams. I was always drawing team logos, uniform ideas, and even designed myself a basketball shoe or two. Sports logos and sports logoed products have always been an obsession of mine.
I have been lucky to spend my entire working life in the sports design and products business. I hope that I can use those experiences to bring the graphics of the game to life in this blog. My subjects will range from current to retro, team related to product related.
I know there are many more like me out there who love the design related to sports and I look forward to providing you with quality commentary and news. I also look forward to the feedback and stories that my readers will provide.
